With the summer holidays in full swing, many of you may be away at the moment. However, the Ex-Pats Club never sleeps (!) and we’re still going to have our regular monthly meeting at the end of this month. I hope that all of you who are at home will be able to join us
What better way to spend a summer evening than a few hours on the beach……well, for our next get-together, on Friday, 29th August, I have booked tables at “HegeStrand 3” in Wasserburg, which is pretty much as close to the beach as you can get on Lake Constance! Tables are booked from 7.30pm onwards – we will have reserved tables inside, along the length of the bar, as reserving outside is not possible. However, if tables become free outside, then we are welcome to take them over. For directions and further info, see their website for details (www.hegestrand3.de). If any of you want to bring your kids along, there is a mini-golf course and a playground, as well as the beach, to keep them occupied. If anyone wants to use public transport, there is a train station in Wasserburg, with connections to Friedrichshafen and also from Lindau (Bregenz too, if you change in Lindau). Thanks to all of you who were able to join us at Cafe Großstadt last month. We were so lucky with the weather and it was wonderful to sit outside until late at night.
