Our evening meeting this month will involve our annual quiz. Our quizmaster, Mike Corrigan, has put together another brain-teaser and we will be having it this year at “Hugo’s” café, Maximillianstraße. It takes place on Friday, 25th January, at the slightly earlier time of 6.30pm. Soup and tapas-style snacks will be available, as well as the usual cakes and desserts. If everyone could be fairly punctual I would be grateful. It would be great if we could start the quiz by 7.15-7.30pm at the latest. One important note: the proceeds from the quiz cover the prizes and also help pay for the website hosting and domain name. I will be placing a donation box near me, with a suggestion for a contribution of 4€. I hope that everyone agrees that this is fair. Many thanks and I hope that as many of you as possible come along for what is usually a very funny night.
Looking ahead, there will be a Coffee Club meeting at some point mid-February – more details to follow – but there will be NO February evening meeting. I will be away for a couple of weeks and as we have our special 15th birthday meeting on Friday, 29th March I will not be organising anything in the interim.
