We have two meet-ups organised for you this month. Firstly, the Coffee Club is meeting next Saturday (17th) at Kunst Café (http://kunst-cafe.info/) Maximilianstrasse 48 (on the corner opposite the Lindauer Zeitung offices). Natalie has booked tables from 11am onwards and everyone is welcome, including kids, friends, family, dogs, etc. Why not join us for a drink or two and a bite to eat after doing your shopping, and get your weekend off to a happy and relaxing start?
Our evening meeting will be on Friday, 23rd February at “Die Zauberei” (www.diezauberei.at) in Bregenz – a little bit of a change from our usual choice of venue. Die Zauberei is something of an insider tip amongst Bregenzers, and I finally managed to eat there myself for the first time on Friday night. It’s a vegetarian restaurant, but I can promise all meat-eaters that you won’t go home disappointed or hungry: the wraps, burgers and other dishes were imaginative, really tasty and a real eye-opener as to how varied veggie cuisine can be. The service was really warm and friendly and I spontaneously booked it for us as I think it will be a lovely place for us to spend an evening. The restaurant is a little bit tucked away, in the Maurachgasse, which is a small alley leading up from the market place by the GWL shopping centre. I will be getting the train from Lindau at 18:25 which gets into Bregenz main station at 18:37. If anyone would like to join me in getting that train, or wants to meet me at Bregenz station to walk up to the venue, then let me know. There are trains back to Lindau at 9.45pm, 10.22pm and 11.20pm.
