Thanks to those of you who came along to the Coffee Club get-together at “Mokka” on Saturday and to Natalie for organising it. I enjoyed going somewhere new and was impressed at how nicely the building had been renovated. The staff were friendly and the food looked really delicious, so I can see that we’ll be heading there again at some point.

Our next evening meeting will be on Friday, 31st May in the “Bockstube” bar, on the ground floor of Hotel Engel (https://en.engel-lindau.de/). It’s a little snug, with not a huge number of seats, but there’s standing room too and I’m sure we’ll manage. We can always expand to the tables outside, as and when they become available. (I’m hoping that the weather will have improved significantly by then!). We have the Bockstube booked just for us from 7pm onwards so please come along and have a relaxing drink and something to eat, to celebrate the end of a working week, the start of the weekend and for many, pay day! Some of you will perhaps be taking the Friday off, as a bridging-day, as the Thursday is a bank holiday here, but I hope that there will still be lots of you around in Lindau to come along and have a laugh and a chat. Great food, with lots of local Bavarian specialities on the menu, as well as decent beer and wine are on offer.
