The first of our upcoming meetings will be the Saturday Morning Coffee Club this weekend (Sat, 16th) at Eiscafe Schreier, on the harbour. Natalie has booked a table inside for 11am onwards (it’s not possible to book a table outdoors, but if the weather is good and a table is free we can always move outside). It will be interesting to see what it’s like since the new proprietors took over…..
Our evening get-together will be two weeks later, on Friday, 29th April, at Weinstube Reutin, Kemptener Str. 45 (on the crossroads, across from Gasthof Köchlin). See the website for details, including the menu: http://www.weinstube-reutin-lindau.de/. I have booked tables from 7pm onwards and we’ll have the side-room to ourselves. Our member, the top-chef Liam McMahon, cooks there on an occasional basis nowadays, and the restaurant has lots of regional specialities, plus a good selection of snacks for those who aren’t quite so hungry. There is not a huge car-park there, so if you can use a bike or the bus, it may be worthwhile. The number 1 bus stops right outside (stop “Köchlin”). I look forward to seeing lots of you there!
