Spring has sprung, nature is awakening after the long winter and we can start to enjoy the longer days and warmer temperatures. For many of you, the Easter holidays are poised to begin, so I know that many will already be getting ready to travel over the next few days. However, for all those who are in the area, our Saturday Morning Coffee Club has a meeting planned for this coming Saturday (8th) which will take place at Café Großstadt, Paradiesplatz. Natalie has booked tables from 11am onwards, as usual, and if the weather is nice (which it looks as if it’s going to be) then we hope to be sitting outside in the square. Breakfast is served all day, but there are always lots of other interesting things on the menu too, including veggie/vegan options. Please don’t come by car if possible – I know I’m always saying it – but at the moment it’s particularly important as on top of the long-term building-sites and roadworks, we are also in the middle of the “Psycho-Fortnight” when Lindau plays host to two weeks of seminars and talks for around 4000 psychotherapists, psychologists and doctors. Please come by public transport, bike or on foot if possible.

Thanks to all of you who came along to our St Patrick’s Day drink at the Irish Pub and the March evening meeting at Gasthaus zum Sünfzen; both of which were really nice evenings. Our Friday Night Out this month will be brought forward one week as I am going to be in the UK on business, and instead of being on the last Friday, it will be on Friday, 21st April. Tables are reserved at “Zur Alten Werft”, Brettermarkt 9 (at the far end of the harbour, near the yacht harbour/beer garden), from 7pm onwards. We haven’t been here for a couple of years, so it’s high time for a re-visit. Pizzas and Balkan specialities are on the menu for all those who are hungry.
